Hi there! I’m Tim and I’d like to welcome you to Hand Drawn Maze.
I have been drawing off and on since I was quite young. Among the various things I would draw, I would occasionally draw very simple, two dimensional mazes. Fast forward many many years – on a whim I began drawing once again. After seeing that I still had the ability to draw, I started drawing mazes for my children based on the cartoon characters they were very fond of at the time. The original mazes were simple, as you would expect, but I increased the complexity of each of the mazes I drew as they got older, so the mazes would not be too easy to solve. For fun, I would hold competitions to see who could complete the maze in the least amount of time. After drawing mainly for my children, I also began to branch out and draw other things such as classic car mazes, boat mazes, etc. As you will see in the drawings, the maze fits nicely into the drawing, as if it were actually existing on the object. I really enjoy overlaying a maze on the objects that I have drawn. Getting the maze correct, in terms of perspective and also making it challenging, is what I strive for when creating these mazes. To refresh my mind, I enjoy taking time out to solve my mazes, and I hope you do as well.
